Louise is an Australian, born in 1963 and resident of Melbourne. She is a navigational chart corrector by profession and a writer and artist by avocation. She has a deep spiritual connection with the historical figure Louis XIII. Her writings about him are in the form of a journal and in poetry.

out in the cool
full moon
streetlights far away
shrouded houses
no cat, I, to sit
upon the fence
and yowl for love
but every nerve calls
in me

in him
I can just see him
walking to me
under liquidambar
and silver birch
unkempt lawn
of suburbia
