jealous poem
this is not
breathing
down your
back, but
forgive me
if I stare, all
because
you and I
didn’t meet
electronically,
our personalities
and hopes
and dreams
weren’t dictated
and painted
and paired
with little
pecks on
a keyboard
throwing
characters
on a screen
like so much
hope on a wall,
no, it was
love at
first or
second sight
so forgive me
if I think
you’ve been
on the computer
too long, typing
while you
bite your
bottom
lip. |
