Inquisitive Life

Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible
                     things before breakfast.
                                   ~ Lewis Carroll

Brimming with elephants and giraffes
My own elfin world
In the midst of storms and rainbows
A temple submerged, lavish
Where I forget everything
The ocean heralds
When the colossal wave arises
The elephant will go on top
Of the giraffe, and you will know
To breathe inside the hollow water
And it happens at the Vernal Equinox
Even if it’s hard to believe
